It's fun

I bought a semi-hollowbody. For 99 dollars I can experiment with paints, stains and finishes. I'll still have playable guitar (even if it's not the most beautiful thing ever) and I'm sure I'll be able to find a good home for it.
I've built over a dozen guitars so far but I stressed on every detail of those, because I wanted them to be perfect. This I want to experiment and explore. I want to try a lot of different things for each stage of development, and see how it ends up. Also, this is my hobby, and I enjoy it. So I suspect I'll be going through one a month or so until they run out. Then I guess I'll start making my own bodies and necks.

I can't wait to build this kit! The neck fit really well and you can't beat the special price! I am especially impressed with how dark the fingerboard is.

Great kits

Got one of these and couldn't be happier it was a great time to build with a kit that came squared up with not to much heavy wood working other that shaping the headstock and some slight neck joint sanding. Turned out beautiful. I'll probably be ordering a few more just for the fun of building these!
