About Vibeworks Guitars

Hello, I'm Sam

When you have questions, need help, or if there is a problem with your kit, you aren't going to be reaching out to a random attendant in a call center. You will be reaching out to me. And I am here to help you get your questions answered and address issues so you can be on your way to building and playing.

Vibeworks Guitars is not a big company. It's mostly just me. If you've watched any of our unboxing or wiring videos, you've heard my voice. If you've reached out with a question, I'm the one that replied to you.

I love helping people like you to learn a new skill, and develop a new hobby. I could not be happier than when customers send photos of their finished guitars, or when they send me a note telling my they took it to their first gig.

Our History

I started The Fretwire in 2014. Many of you may have bought a guitar kit from me then. It grew to be a great brand that people trusted. In 2021 I sold the company to an eCommerce firm. Unfortunately they made some dumb changes, lost a lot of trust, and eventually closed in late 2022.

In 2023 I decided to reopen as Vibeworks Guitars. I have loved reconnecting with many customers and friends, and I am happy to once again be trusted source for DIY Guitar kits, Parts and Tools.
