Each kit contains all the parts you need to build a great guitar.
The SLAB is the ultimate DIY project. Cut the body to any shape you can imagine! Several shapes by the big guitar companies are trademarked, so as a commercial company, we can't sell them. But you can create them for your own use. The SLAB is 17.25" x 13.5".
The slab comes setup to accept 2 humbucker pickups and a tuneomatic bridge, and a rear control cavity (cover included). Included in the kit (if you choose to use them) are the pickups, 2 tone and 2 volume pots, and a 3-way switch.
Due to the custom cutting and shaping required, this is considered an Advanced level kit.

Perfect for me in that the neck is finished and the body is routed for the neck pocket and bridge position (for scale length) - these are the necessarily precise points that I don’t have the tools for. The rest of it is fun and satisfying to do by hand!
