JB Style Fretless Build Your Own Bass Guitar Kit

This was my first time building an instrument. I learned a lot along the way, but feel proud of what I made. The kit contains all of the parts. I am I impressed with the quality control to make sure every screw was included. I actually prefer things that don't contain a bunch of extra screws. This has exactly the right number for everything I needed.
The box arrived well packed, and the body was actually more finely sanded than I was expecting.

There are a lot of supplies beyond the kit needed to build an instrument. Masking tape, sealers, paint, clear coats, a bunch of sand paper, polish, naptha, mineral spirits. The kit was NOT the most expensive part of my build. However, now that I have many of the supplies needed to build another, I might take a stab at another kind of bass.

For what it's worth, I feel like it turned out just as visually appealing as it does sound like a good instrument, and it will hang on the wall to be displayed between playing it, rather than sitting in a case.

For those wondering, the color is British Racing Green and it was as spray nitrocellulose lacquer kit from Oxford.
