Direct Drop-in compact bass machine heads with threaded bushings for 9/16'' diameter peg holes. Gotoh's Res-O-Lite machine heads are extremely light weight (59.2 grams each) from aluminum alloy to make for a less neck heavy bass. Features a 26:1 Gear Ratio. 4 In Line config, fits many Standard American and Mexican basses. Also the key post can be removed and replaced on opposing side. Come in 4 on a side. Mounting hardware included.

Bass guitars have weighty machine heads and by their very nature have always suffered from “neck-dive”. With the advent of 5 and 6 string basses, this tendency became still more acute, making long sessions uncomfortable for the musician. The RES-O-LITE series was developed to solve this problem. By chiefly using the special alloy “duralumin”, excellent weight savings are achieved. By use of the Rock-Solid mechanism the GB528 transmits string movement more powerfully, whilst retaining tuning and giving a smooth winding experience.
