2025 Tariffs Update

As most have seen, Donald Trump announced additional tariffs on Chinese goods, on top of a previously announced 20% tariff. Years ago, this was 4.5%, then 12%, then 55%, then 145%, and it currently sits at 30%. This is a tax on all of our products entering the country, paid by us at Vibeworks Guitars. Despite what his office says, China doesn't pay those tariffs, we do. 

As many of you know, parts made completely in the USA are available, at approximately 400% higher prices than the parts that we sell. 

While we purchase inventory from China, we are a US company, we provide several jobs directly, as well as adding to the local economy through our ecommerce channel partners, shipping partners, and agencies we work with. None of this is possible without reasonably priced products. 

Once inventory arrives with the 30% tax added, we will need to raise our prices to cover that cost. We will only raise them high enough to cover the tax Trump is imposing, no higher.
